Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Maintenance Service Worker Trainee in Richland, WA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Daily collection of all trash dumpsters and empty smaller waste containers as needed located throughout the site.
  
• Policing of the grounds and perimeter fence for debris and wind-blown weeds.
  
• Providing laborer support of craft work as required.
  
• Operates trucks and forklifts for short and long-distance hauling as assigned.
  
• Performs lower priority tasks as required such as moving/transporting furniture, installing shelving, assembling furniture and racks, etc.
  
• In the winter months, removes snow, both by hand and by mechanized equipment, clears walks, spreads ice-melter and generally prepares the plant for others prior to 7:00 a.m. when required.
  
• In summer months, maintains the site landscaping.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The starting rate for this position is $26.54 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $35.39 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and benefits.
