Maintenance Manager Position Overview
Qualifications:
-A minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline is required, along with at least five years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, encompassing both mechanical and electrical domains.
-Proficiency in electrical maintenance is essential.
-The role demands strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively manage and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines.
-A minimum of two years of experience in electrical troubleshooting is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee the team responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, supporting the production of chemical compounds and handling of related materials.
-Ensure the upkeep of various plant systems, including those for material processing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping operations.
-The facility operates continuously, and this role typically follows a Monday-Friday day shift schedule.
-Lead maintenance personnel in tasks required to maintain, repair, or replace equipment.
-Provide guidance in diagnosing machinery issues.
-Organize and oversee maintenance operations, including preventative measures, to guarantee uninterrupted production.
-Liaise with production management to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize operational disruptions.
-Manage the maintenance schedule during periods of plant closure.
-Contribute to the development of the annual maintenance budget and monitor monthly expenses.
-Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), staying informed about engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
-Maintain the condition of tools and workspaces, as well as maintenance logs and calibration records.
-Uphold quality management protocols and ensure accurate record-keeping.
-Handle scheduling and payroll for the maintenance team, ensuring precise recording of work hours.
-Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
-Address employee concerns and issues in an equitable manner.
-The position involves working in proximity to active machinery and exposure to typical industrial environmental conditions.
