Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
Schedule:4pm-4am Sat-Weds one week | Mon-Weds one week
Weds- Half days 4pm-10pm
Starting pay rate: $21.85/hour (pay will be based on qualifications and experience level)
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Must have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience (food industry preferred) with a single employer or be a graduate from an industrial maintenance school program.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills needed to read manuals, logs, blueprints, and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Must have one year industrial Maintenance Experience or educationAll applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicant also must have completed a minimum of 365 days since last employment with Tyson.
