Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

  • Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet.
  • The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday.
  • Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hrs/day on concrete floors. Position requires pulling or lifting over 40 lbs and climbing ladders above 10 feet.
  • Requires computer-based training and entering work into SAP system.
  • Position requires using LOTO, Fall protection, Ladders, Forklifts, pallet Jacks, Lawn mowers, Weed trimmers
  • Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and computer skills is preferred.
  • Candidates must have 6 months of maintenance experience or be in a maintenance apprenticeship program.

Must have a Minimum of 6 months Industrial maintenance work expereience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance/refrigeration training program (can be a combination of employers as lon as experience is at least 6 months)

Rehiring Criteria: Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicants must also have completed at least 180 days since their last employment with Tyson.
