Job Description:

  • Lead firm's network operations and maintenance.
    • Develop, implement and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and emergency safeguards and procedures to be invoked in the event of power failure or shutdown.
    • Responsible for networking, storage and server based computing technologies at the firm. This includes design, implementation and support aspects of these foundational technologies.
    • Responsible for implementing security standards and policies set forth by firm management as they relate to business applications, networking, storage, and server based computing technologies.
    • Troubleshoot complex problems which have significant impact on the firm, including:
      • Problems with enterprise technology infrastructure
      • Determining the nature and source of the problem
      • Researching, developing and implementing corrective action.
  • Provide redundancy for Director -Technical Services duties as required.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to other Technical Services staff, acting as lead in various capacities including design, architecture, implementation, and support.
  • Manage technical projects using IT project management methodologies, including concept, design, budget, implementation, and training phases.
  • Develop technology strategies for firm, including:
    • Business applications
    • Server based computing
    • Networking
    • Storage and other infrastructure planning
  • Provide advanced technical mentoring and support to other IT personnel as requested.
  • Provides direct support to end users.
  • Responsible for all infrastructure aspects of firm business applications and supporting systems, including practice management, messaging, collaboration and any line of business applications.
  • Responsible for adhering to IT operational standards set forth by IT management, including service desk, change management, and service delivery.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending technical education, attending workshops, reading publications and pursuing technical certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 7-10 Years Experience
  • Advanced systems administration skills, minimum 7 years' experience.
  • Preferred: Major industry certifications from Microsoft and Cisco preferred.

The compensation range for this role is $67,060 to $145,310. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
