Job Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Design Assistant to join our team. This role will support various marketing and graphic design activities, focusing on creating visually engaging social media graphics, designing flyers and catalogs, developing and reformatting technical documentation to meet branding standards, and assisting with WordPress website updates and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and must be comfortable reformatting and preparing materials for both digital and print use. Strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and basic familiarity with best practices in digital marketing outreach. Contract to Hire. Regular Business Hours.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create engaging graphics for social media channels.
- Assist in the creation and layout of marketing materials, including flyers, catalogs, brochures, and email campaigns.
- Support website updates, including content uploads, formatting, and basic maintenance on WordPress.
- Reformat and optimize both marketing materials and technical support documentation for different platforms and formats.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and brand strategies.
Qualifications:
- College degree in Marketing or Design-related specialty strongly preferred
- Strong expertise in use of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva required
- Strong expertise in detailed formatting and indexing of manual documents in Microsoft Word required
- Familiarity with Adobe Premier preferred
