Job Summary: As an Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Developer, the focus will be on automating business processes, delivering tools and processes to accelerate automation, and exploring emerging technologies that drive efficiency and enable our business to transform. Key Responsibilities of this role include: provide the analysis, development, and implementation of automated solutions via several technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The IPA Developer role reports directly to the ITSM executive Director. Impact of this role in the organization: The IPA Developer will provide financial and organizational improvements to the enterprise by determining and implanting those manual efforts through RPA. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Act as a point of contact and a source of technical knowledge for enterprise automation; this includes having an advisory role for new purchases, automation, installation and maintenance, and upgrading of mid-tier software and licensing. Duties include: - Ability to develop solution (along with alternatives) to automate the business process using RPA platforms, and other available products/utilities (both internal and external, including Excel macros and automation tools like Microsoft Flow) - Assist customers in developing automation strategies and roadmaps while also providing guidance around IPA Operating Models and develop familiarity with existing client processes - Conceptualize business use cases and business requirements that may cross one or more systems into an automated solution; provide necessary workflows and flow diagrams as part of the deliverable - Support and manage all phases of the RDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment of automations of business processes - Design and build robust process automation solutions to client processes using Blue Prism, UIPath or another RPA tool - Integrate vendor-provided machine learning and artificial intelligence tools into automation designs - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, design and operations) to design, build, test and ship new features - Fix bugs and improve application performance - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency - Provide quick response and delegation to critical system issues as well as preventative maintenance and optimization to ensure reliable uptime for end users - Perform code reviews to ensure scalability, robustness, and security of core products Responsible for the support and maintenance of the RPA environment to include: - Compliance Ensures compliance with all software copyright and licensing laws and requirements. - Operations and Maintenance Supports and maintains hardware and software in accordance with an established technology refresh plan insuring that organizational business needs are met. - Financial Management Assists in maintaining the IT budget in alignment with WellStar budget projections and financial management practices. - Customer Satisfaction Acts collaboratively in assessing, evaluating and providing IT automation support services within and across organizational business units; ensures collaboration within, and across, all departmental boundaries, strengthening existing relationships and alliances, and forming new ones, so that customer needs are met. - Timeliness Effectively contributes to IT projects, special assignments and overall workload in meeting established deadlines and project milestones; completes projects and tasks on time and within budget; completes all IT projects, assignments, milestones, and regular responsibilities within agreed-upon deadlines to avoid serious slippage of dependent/ contingent projects in order to insure ultimate project success. Research, analyze, and evaluate the use of new and existing technologies with the focus on eliminating redundancy of deployed technologies through integration/consolidation. Actively support IS policies, procedures and initiatives. - Creates and maintains standards as they relate to delivery of automated solutions. - Evaluates/Documents system releases, service packs, system configurations etc. - Maintains technical documentation. Enhance professional growth and development through education programs, workshops or other educational opportunities that may be presented. Assist in the training of staff. Keep abreast of current events. - Demonstrates the ability to learn and improve troubleshooting skills by actively participating in education programs. - Attends regular departmental and Town Hall meetings, and promote / exemplify excellent customer service as aligned with WellStars Standards. - Creates training documentation that is user friendly, detailed and precise. Required Minimum Education: Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Required and Five+ (5) years of equivalent work experience in-lieu of education will be considered Required Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in IPA development or similar function with tools such as UI Path, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism Required and Experience in .NET, C#, Visual Basic, Python or macro development Preferred and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications Required and Prior Application DevelopmentAutomation experience on any major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) Preferred and Experience with development in an Agile environment Required Minimum Skills: Curiosity and a willingness to research, explore and experiment with new technologies Understanding and ability to apply testing, change management and other SDLC techniques to bot development Experience in the healthcare industry a plus Excellent project management skills Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
