This includes the manufacturing of medium-power transformers, mobile transformers, mobile electrical substations, trailers, and unitized substations. We offer power transformers for utility applications including power and distribution, transmission voltages, system ties, and automatic voltage regulations, as well as industrial applications. Delta Star also provides comprehensive engineering, testing, maintenance services, and parts for any transformer manufacturer through our Field Service business unit, ensuring our customer's transformers and mobiles maintain peak performance.

Internship Summary:

The student will be part of the continuous improvement process. The selected person will join the Delta Star team to work on-site to support them in data collection, analysis, and business reports.

  • Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects. Conduct research and analysis to support project goals. Generate technical documentation and reports. Analyze data using Excel, PowerBI, or other similar software. Propose new, and improve existing reports and dashboards for operation management. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD software
  • MS Office, advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables)
  • Data collection and preparation for analysis.

Schedule

Work schedule: Flexible schedule Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM with a preference for day shift availability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks on-site
