Job Summary

Assist engineers in investigation, design, and verification of a product in valve, pump, spray, fluid jetting systems, plasma treatment, and related automation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Instrument and analyze electromechanical and fluid mechanisms to quantify performance
• Create SolidWorks models and drawings
• Design tests and experiments to direct design choices
• Discover and mitigate design risks through FMEA's and design reviews
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education:

• Junior or Senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering

Experience:

• SolidWorks modeling and drafting experience
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Statics, Dynamics, Electrical circuits
• Prototype part fabrication and/or assembly experience
• Experienced with laboratory instruments - oscilloscopes, pressure transducers, RTD's
• Basic software skills may include Python, C++, Java

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

100% on site (no remote) Mix of office and laboratory environment with requirements to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling of chemicals, working with high power electronics, and automated mechanical systems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
