Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Team Leader located in our new Design Hub in Orlando, FL. The position will entail solving problems (technical, fiscal, project, managerial), performing analyses needed to generate solutions, and interacting with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the Group and Company. This Lead role is an opportunity to leverage your knowledge and be involved in exciting projects that will offer an opportunity to provide technical solutions as the subject matter expert.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Provide leadership and oversight of design staff engaged on projects along with the ability to nurture and develop technical support staff
- Primary role is to fulfill the I&C systems engineering needs for a wide variety of projects
- Provide design and engineering for projects and proposals to assure that design and equipment meets customer specifications and industry codes and standards
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary environment in determining the I&C requirements
- Develop detailed engineering packages to represent installation requirements
- Handle specification creation and modification, as well as oversee detailed design
- Work collaboratively with other teams to accomplish objectives
- Verify accuracy and completeness of all deliverable products and services in assigned areas of responsibility
- Occasional travel to sites, installation sites, and customer facilities as needed to support project requirements
- Position requires flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines and support occasional business travel
What you will bring to the Team - Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional engineering registration in a minimum of one state.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the evaluation/design of I&C systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - including report-writing and preparation of competitive proposals.
- Strong project management skills, managing multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget
- Previous experience mentoring and development more junior staff and supervising technical. teams considered a plus.
- High ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work.
- Positive and motivating collaborative work style.
- Ability to manage work and coordinate with multi office teams and personnel.
