Inspector - Receiving

Archbald, PA

Contract Position

$25.91/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and clerical tasks related to receiving materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Utilize computers to enter transactions, validate information, and maintain databases.
• Unpack and inspect items received, verifying completeness against bills of lading and invoices.
• Document and report damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and notify appropriate departments.
• Route materials to inspection, storage, or other destinations and operate mobile equipment for material movement.
• Respond to inquiries regarding the status of rejected or received goods.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in inspection of parts within a similar industry.
• Familiarity with tools used in inspection, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (coordinate measuring machines)
