Job Description Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Research, the Grants Coordinator A will provide research and financial administrative support for the Department of Dermatology. This role will be responsible for the preparation, review, and submission of sponsored program proposals for submission to sponsors. This position will function as a resource for sponsored program guidelines, policies, and procedures. The individual will also provide financial monitoring and reporting for sponsored programs including foundations, federal and other agencies. Post award duties include award set up and management for financial and regulatory compliance, meeting regularly with investigators for expense reporting and projects, and processing reports and transactions through close out.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Research and has a dotted reporting line to PSOM Office of Research Support Services.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring of grant expenditures and completion of monthly grant analysis
- Proposal Development and Renewal
- Grant Reconciliation and Audit Back-up
- Maintain staff payroll allocations using Workday
- Maintain grant and financial databases
- Perform additional duties as assigned
