GARAGE DOOR SYSTEMS, a division of Blossman Gas & Appliance, Inc. desires qualified applicants seeking a rewarding career path to apply for the position of GARAGE DOOR TECHNICIAN at our Hilton Head, SC location. With more than 80 branch locations in 12 states, Blossman Gas is the largest independent LP company in America. Due to our company's culture, these positions experience little turnover.

Our Hilton Head, SC location specializes in providing comfort and convenience to our residential and commercial customers through gas delivery and appliance service. However, we also maintain an outstanding garage door systems department to serve the needs of customers seeking garage door installations and service in the greater Hilton Head area.

Our Garage Door Technicians and Apprentices regularly install and service garage door systems. We seek someone dynamic, eager to contribute within a team-oriented environment while bringing 3-5 years of prior experience installing and servicing garage door systems. A strong knowledge of hand tools, ability to conduct daily physical work, and utilize technology are needed.

The position requires strong customer service skills and desire to work well in a small installation team daily. Working in all-weather conditions and routinely moving objects weighing more than 50 lbs. are routine. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must.

Pay will depend on prior experience but will likely exceed expectations for starting wages. A comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/life/and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k) w/company match, and regular bonus opportunities are included.
