Innova Solutions is looking for a FinTech Application Trade Support professional to work onsite Monday to Friday in New York City for a large international financial services company. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Extensive experience on a trading floor supporting mission-critical applications in the Equities business (e.g., US Market Making, ETF, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, Options).
  • Strong knowledge of high-touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS, IOI, market data, and CTM.
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Tidal, Control-M, or Autosys.
Position type: Full-time W2 (No C2C - No VISA sponsorship candidates)
Duration: 6 months with possible extension.
Location: Onsite in New York City
Pay Range: $90-95/hour W2

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Equities Front Office Traders, Middle Office Users and Compliance on the trading floor
  • Monitor trading system and FIX network connectivity
  • Troubleshoot real-time trading issues and investigate compliance inquiries
  • Communicate major incidents to stakeholders
  • Communicate and escalate issues to vendors
  • Gather requirement from traders and document for tracking and prioritization
  • Provide business specification to vendor and development teams to build the enhancement
  • Share business workflow with support & QA team to strengthen regression test suite\
  • Maintain knowledge base, support scripts, documentation and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience working on a trading floor supporting mission critical applications in the Equities business (i.e. US Market Making, ETF, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, Options)
  • Strong knowledge in high touch trading workflow, FIX protocol, OMS, IOI, market data and CTM
  • OMS and/or EMS knowledge and understanding
  • Proficient in handling regulatory and compliance related requests (e.g. RegNMS, RegSHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, TRACE)
  • Familiar with Linux, SQL, JIRA & Excel
  • Familiar with Tidal, Control-M, Autosys or equivalent
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience with scripting and automation is a plus
EDUCATION
  • Computer Science degree or 5+ years of experience with Front Office support.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: $90-95/hour W2 Only.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
