The Facilities Manager is responsible for comprehensive management of our multi-building headquarters. The position will drive our infrastructure development projects and will identify gaps in our current infrastructure and build a roadmap to upgrade as needed to modern standards.

This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations located in Torrance, California and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement facilities management plans to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects and maintenance activities.
• Manage the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of HVAC and ventilation systems
• Manage budgets for facility operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Serve as the SME for facilities design as needed on building expansion projects
• Lead and mentor the facilities team to foster a proactive and collaborative work culture.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Proven experience in facilities management within a corporate or life sciences environment. Strong knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
• Proficiency in project management and budget oversight, with strong analytical abilities.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field, is preferred
• Negotiating maintenance contracts with vendors related to facilities upkeep and preventative maintenance programs
• Office and lab ventilation projects

The salary range for this role is $103K - $113K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
