The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is searching for a Division Chief of Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS). This full-time appointment will be in the University Tenure Line or Non-Tenure Line (Research) at the Associate or Full Professor rank. In addition to contributions in their own specific research areas, the Division Chief of IBIIS will be responsible for the research and teaching activities of the Division. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated scholarly achievement in her/his area of expertise, have mentored junior faculty, demonstrated teaching excellence, and have a significant track-record with NIH, industrial, and/or other funding. Exceptional leadership and administrative skills are also required.
The qualified candidate will have a PhD and/or MD and/or equivalent degree with a background in computer science, engineering, physics, biomedical informatics, data science, imaging science, or another related field. We seek motivated individuals who are committed not only to excellence in research, but also to training the next generation of researchers.
