POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Global Labor Relations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of labor relations within the company. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in labor law, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, and strategic labor relations management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of labor laws and regulations, and a proven track record of effectively managing labor relations in a large, publicly traded organization.
This position will be located at our Corporate HQ's in Westerville. Ohio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company's labor relations strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management on labor relations issues, including collective bargaining, union negotiations, and conflict resolution.

Employee Relations:
- Handle all facets of employee relations, including investigations and resolutions to employment disputes.
- Proactively leads and drives positive employee relations programs and action planning across the country.
- Provide employee relations support, guidance and direction to the HR organization and business leaders, with a particular emphasis on the administration of policies and compliance programs.

Union Relations and Negotiations:
- Lead negotiations and manage relationships with labor unions and employee representatives.
- Oversee the preparation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
- Address and resolve labor disputes and grievances in a timely and effective manner.

Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Monitor and assess potential risks related to labor relations and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, review, and update labor relations policies and procedures.
- Ensure that company policies are communicated effectively to employees and management.

Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of labor relations professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the labor relations team.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between the company and external labor relations stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry groups.
- Represent the company in labor relations forums, conferences, and other industry events.
Qualifications: -
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Juris Doctor) preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in labor relations or equivalent, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing labor relations in a publicly traded company or a global large, complex organization.
