About the Role

As a Digital Content Developer, you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to enhance the client's websites and digital assets. Your responsibilities include assessing customer needs and creating impactful content for web pages, digital applications, chatbots, user guides, and other customer-facing assets. You should be an expert in content creation, structuring, writing, user-focused page design, and tracking effectiveness. You must excel in copywriting, communicating user benefits, content taxonomy, SEO, service design, and optimizing customer journeys. A deep understanding of our audience and the ability to communicate content solutions to stakeholders is essential.

Required Experience
  • Website Content Writing: At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Developing content for large websites with multiple departments and services.
  • Creating content strategies focusing on logical taxonomies, streamlined user journeys, and human-focused design.
  • Planning content discovery, analysis, creation, delivery, tracking, and governance.
  • Aligning content with business goals, stakeholder objectives, and user needs.
  • Conducting content inventory and audits.
  • High proficiency in copywriting and motivating users to action.
  • Conducting in-depth research to develop and optimize content.
  • Creating high-quality content for marketing, including advertising, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Editing and proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • SEO and Analytics: At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Conducting keyword research, developing SEO strategies, and using best practices to increase SERP results and traffic.
  • Practicing technical and on-page SEO methodologies to meet Google's "EAT" objectives.
  • Developing KPIs and tracking content success.
  • Using customer research and site analytics to ensure content meets user needs.
  • Content Lifecycle Governance: At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Defining customer needs and identifying content gaps.
  • Optimizing and categorizing content for a service-oriented information architecture.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to write clear, goal-oriented text.
  • Reviewing and improving content for accuracy, legibility, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Structuring content to highlight benefits over features.
  • Establishing governance models for content maintenance post-publishing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Website Writing and Content Management:
  • Proficiency in Sitecore or a comparable CMS.
  • Expertise in content creation, copywriting, editing, content marketing, SEO, and analytics.
  • Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Jira).
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • High Functioning in Complex Situations:
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable suggesting strategies and identifying risks.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Sitecore 10.2.
  • Bachelor's degree in UX, Web Design, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3 years of full-time website content writing experience.
  • Proficiency in digital content standards and plain language guidelines.
  • Experience with chatbots, search consoles, and helpdesk services.
  • Proficiency with content tools, including development, inventory/auditing, and SEO tools.
  • A portfolio of published online content.
  • Industry certification in a related discipline.
  • 1 year of experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • 1 year of experience with Google Analytics (preferably GA4).
  • 1 year of experience with data dashboard software like Power BI.
