Desktop Support Technician

Greenville, SC

Contract Position

$20.00-$25.00/Hour

Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support by setting up, testing, and maintaining computer systems to ensure operational readiness for aerospace maintenance and support operations.
• Set up and test systems and hardware components before field deployment.
• Provide personal computer repair and troubleshooting for all company departments.
• Analyze failed equipment to determine if in-house repairs are possible or if vendor services are required.
• Perform standard repairs and component testing for equipment serviced in-house.
• Test incoming repaired items from vendors to confirm proper functionality.
• Conduct preventive and on-demand maintenance on personal computer equipment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant technical experience, including system imaging.
• Skills:
  • Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and basic computer repair processes.
