Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Deployment Technician:

 

- Installation of new workstations, including hardware, operating systems, and application software, adhering to departmental standards.

- Researching and developing solutions to complex technical issues.

- Utilizing Microsoft SCCM to install OS image and software.

- Documenting known issues and resolutions for internal team reference.

- Reviewing literature, consulting with experts, and coordinating with vendors to identify suitable hardware and/or software solutions.

- This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire position.

 

Required Skills for Desktop Deployment Technician:

 

- 1-3 years of experience supporting Windows 10 operating systems.

- 1-3 years of experience supporting and configuring computer hardware/software.

- 1-3 years of experience working in a technical customer service environment.

- 1-3 years of experience working with a ticket tracking system (e.g., Microsoft SCSM, ServiceNow, Cherwell, etc.).
