Job Title: Wireless Architect

Job Description: Join our Network Architecture team to design and optimize our global network infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability with a focus on DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and standard frameworks.
  • Provide deep expertise in network design, including conceptual, proof-of-concept, and deployment methodologies.
  • Offer technical leadership to operations teams.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to detect, prevent, and defend against network vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise and fully engage during P1/P2 network escalations.
  • Engage with external vendors for technology evaluation and recommendations.
Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience with multi-vendor technologies, including DDI, wireless, and security.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloudflare and Infoblox DNS and DHCP services.
  • Proficiency in multi-vendor wireless solutions (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper).
  • Familiarity with Airwave, Aruba Central, and Catalyst Center for wireless network visibility.
  • Experience in wireless design using Ekahau.
  • Expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise wireless networks, including 802.11x standards, encryption, RADIUS, and EAP-TLS.
  • Advanced configuration skills for Aruba Wireless LAN controllers, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM), and Aruba Airwave.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend new and emerging wireless products and technologies.
  • Experience with device configurations, internal OS upgrades, software upgrades, and deploying Infoblox physical/VM appliances and NTP server hardware.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting DDI and NTP issues and recommending corrective procedures.
  • Ability to configure and maintain Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions for optimal performance and security.
  • Experience implementing and managing DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC).
  • Skills in monitoring and analyzing DNS traffic for anomalies and potential threats.
  • Methodical approach to gathering, documenting, and presenting requirements and technical solutions.
  • Exceptional documentation skills to clearly articulate technical designs, issues, constraints, procedures, and network assessments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish professional relationships with varying levels of business and technical personnel.
  • Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks professionally and timely with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certification such as CCIE or equivalent.
