RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Classification Consultant in Tukwila, WA.Summary:We are seeking a Data Classification Specialist with expertise in Regular Expressions (RegEx) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) classification. This role involves developing, refining, and implementing data classification rules using Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). You will be responsible for iterating through rule creation, testing, and refinement to ensure accurate data tagging across a broad range of PII types.Key Responsibilities:- Data Classification Consultant will develop and implement PII classification rules using Informatica
- Utilize RegEx for identifying and classifying sensitive data
- Work iteratively to create, test, refine, and deploy rules, ensuring high accuracy
- Handle over 50+ classification rules requiring tweaks or ground-up development
- As a Data Classification Consultant, you will collaborate closely with the team in a heads-down, focused environment with minimal business engagement
- Ensure reliable tagging and classification of data across various datasets
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong expertise in Informatica (IDMC) and data classification module usage
- Proficiency in Regular Expressions (RegEx) for data pattern identification
- Experience in PII data classification and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks
- Experience in developing classification rules from scratch
- Understanding of data security and privacy regulations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
