ABOUT THE JOB

Marathon Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of both internal and external events that drive business growth and engagement. As a key member of our marketing and outreach team, this role will play a critical part in designing and managing virtual and in-person events such as webinars, company retreats, corporate healthcare seminars, and community-specific initiatives in regions where we operate. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of creativity, operational excellence, and analytical thinking to ensure events are both impactful and aligned with Marathon Health's mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute an annual events strategy aligned with Marathon Health's business objectives and marketing initiatives.
• Manage the entire event lifecycle, from initial concept through post-event analysis, ensuring high-quality execution.
• Coordinate a calendar of events that supports company-wide goals, including virtual webinars, in-person meetings, community health events, and team-building retreats.
• Oversee all event logistics, including attendee registration, presentation preparation, materials, and evaluation metrics.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed for event execution.
• Ensure events are properly certified for continuing education (CEUs) when applicable.
• Partner with marketing, outreach, and communications teams to develop promotional strategies, content, and audience engagement plans.
• Set performance goals for events, track key metrics such as attendance and engagement, and provide detailed post-event reports.
• Stay informed on industry trends and relevant topics to ensure events remain timely and impactful.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management, and a minimum of 4+ years of relevant event management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior event experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

This role is fully remote, with occasional travel for key in-person events.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
