This is what YOU will do:
Reporting to the Assurance Lead of the Compliance function, the Compliance Assurance Partner is primarily accountable for delivering assurance activities related to 2nd line monitoring, highlighting risk areas based on analysis, suggesting remediation plans in Local Compliance Committee Meetings or other agreed forums, and providing real-time insights from monitoring and investigations to Leadership. The role involves conducting local investigations and providing support to Global Compliance Investigations, offering local market business expertise, and encouraging strong working relationships with Business and Compliance Business Partners.
YOU will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the Assurance work in US market, providing support for OBU and BBU assurance activities, wich includes supporting the current US Assurance team on assurance activities, encouraging collaboration among team members, cultivating robust relationships with business collaborators, and establishing trust with key partners.
- Perform the 2nd line monitoring based on the annual planning of compliance assurance
- Provide support to develop and implement the corrective actions based on the issues resulted from monitoring.
- Implements and maintains an effective compliance program (including support for monitoring, auditing, investigations, assurance reporting etc.) in in the MCs based on the global & regional plan
- Support driving and embedding a culture of ethics and integrity
- Maintain professional & effective collaboration with Business Partner that guarantee high level of assurance provided to MC and Audit Committee
- Record and report all monitoring activities accordingly
- Record compliance investigations and incidents
- Lead investigations and support the global investigations team on significant investigations.
- Deliver all required assurance reports on timely basis
- Participate in local Committees or any other forum to share findings from assurance work,
- Ensure timely communication of all potential investigations to Area Assurance Leads to identify correct path of action.
YOU will need to have:
- Qualified professional - compliance, law, audit (internal or external), internal controls, risk advisory services, etc., with broad experience in risk management, internal audit, or any other related area.
- Proven ability to identify and manage risks, as well as develop and implement controls.
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills
- Strong collaborative, partnering, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of processes and controls
- Deep business understanding
- Strong ability to work independently
- High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
We would prefer for YOU to have:
- Experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industries
- Knowledge and experience of corporate governance, health care regulations, laws and standards
- Investigative Skills: Experience in conducting investigations, including forensic accounting and fraud detection, can be highly beneficial.
- Digital Transformation Knowledge: Experience in auditing digital transformation initiatives, including assessing the risks and controls associated with digital technologies and processes.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from 144,447.20 to $216,670.80. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
