Job Description

As a Cloud Database Engineer III, you will be responsible for the setup and on-going health of relational and non-relational databases within the company. You must have advanced experience working with open systems infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, and MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases. In this position, it is critical to have a passion for cloud database engineering and a focus on growth and improvement as we continue to modernize our systems. You'll also be responsible for:

• Installing and maintaining database software
• Installing and testing upgrades and patches
• Building database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions
• Designing and documenting database architecture
• Developing database utilities and automated reporting
• Analyzing and sustaining capacity and performance requirements

We value onsite collaboration. This role requires onsite work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.

Qualifications

What It Takes:

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related IT field
• 5+ years' experience in technology and software implementation/design
• 5+ years' experience in database administration and architecture within an open systems infrastructure
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
