Buying Data Management Specialist
Store Support Center

We are searching for an experienced Buying Data Management Specialist for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040
The Buying Data Management Specialist position reports to the Manager of Data Management and is responsible for reviewing, entering, and maintaining data required to manage the flow of products to be sold in the stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; (Other duties may be assigned or required)

• Review data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain data integrity procedures
• Perform set up and maintenance of item data
• Perform set up and maintenance of vendor data
• Maintain item, store, vendor, and cost data
• Assign authorizations for stores to carry particular products based on requests from the Sales & Merchandising group.
• Interact with stores, category managers, and space management to ensure data accuracy
• Responsible for entering DSD cost and retail on new item setups
• Add family codes to new items in MDM; delete family code on discontinued items
• Edit new item reports to check for spelling errors and POS flags
• Research and respond to issues reported from the stores and other departments through the Data Integrity mailbox
• Add, update, edit item authorization flags for new and remodeled stores
• Participate in additional projects as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in Buying, Data Management, Store Operations, Pricing, or Finance. Some college is preferred. Retail Management Certificate is desirable.

COMPENSATION: The starting rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
