Client Service Representative

Perfect position for the scientist that does not want to be at the bench! Our Client Service Reps are responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of assigned accounts. They foster the relationship with their clients by serving as a single point of contact for their every need. They are able to field requests by gathering all the necessary information needed to successfully perform testing. Once all information is gathered, they work hand in hand with our internal support staff and the respective technical teams to provide the client with the expected deliverable (on time and on budget). Due to the ever-changing priorities faced on a daily basis, Client Service Reps must use their gained knowledge and the tools available to manage the details of each and every submission. Client Service Reps look to exceed client expectations and grow the profitability of their accounts through the service they provide. They are able to seamlessly coordinate a routine sample submission and multi-method establishment project at the same time, without a decrease in productivity.

Client Service Reps are the face of Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Inc. Their interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills during trying times allow their clients to hit key milestones in the drug development process. The experience they provide to their clients has allowed us to partner with key players in the Bio/Pharmaceutical market place.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret stakeholder requirements to the respective technical teams and deliver on a project by managing client expectations - which include budget, timeline, and facilitating change management as necessary
  • Manage day-to-day project/submission needs, both internal and external, to ensure the project is executed on time and on budget
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans
  • Facilitate day-to-day communication, arrange and host conference calls and client visits to our site
  • Utilize and provide constructive feedback for improvement to project management tools
  • Facilitate the document control of client GMP documentation to ensure that the respective laboratories have all information needed to perform their testing
  • Actively seek and champion opportunities for improvement in processes utilizing Lean ideology
  • Proactively ensure all parties are receiving updates on a consistent basis
  • Manage deviations and exceptions within the GMP requirements instilled by our Quality Assurance group
  • Create and manage project logs to ensure that all meeting notes and lab-essential communication is documented in accordance with ELLI procedures
  • Facilitate and track all financial aspects of a project from request for proposal, quoting, purchase order management and invoicing, etc.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • BS/BA in Science, Business or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
  • Must work out of our Lancaster, Pennsylvania office
  • Computer skills - Experience utilizing MS Office including MS Project, Excel, or other project organizational tools. Experience utilizing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a plus.
  • Ability and desire to earn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Preferred Skills:
  • Aptitude for or background in chemistry or biology
  • Hands-on experience with some type of project management software
  • Prior project management or customer service experience in a scientific field

  • Prior GMP knowledge
The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
