JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform maintenance and service tasks for customers in assigned territory. Understand customer requirements and accordingly recommend the right products or services. Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Produce timely and detailed service reports. Document processes. Provide training to customers about product usage and maintenance. Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems. Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols. Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate. recommendations/briefings. Build positive relationships with customers. Must be familiar with Allen Bradley software and hardware.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Needs someone with at least 5+ years of experience in Automation
Strong troubleshooter for PLC
Troubleshoot logic, components
Make small changes to the logic if needing corrected, etc
Team is mainly Maintenace - trying to fix things that break down or keep it from breaking down.
98% of equipment is Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, Logics 500)
No certifications or degree is needed.
Does not want to see production techs who are trying to move to automation
