A reputable law firm is seeking an Attorney with 4-5 years of experience working closely with a senior partner on complex litigation cases that often involve catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. Case types often include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and medical malpractice.
Duties/Responsibilities:
? Assist the senior partner in managing a docket of complex litigation cases.
? Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
? Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
? Participate in strategy development, case analysis, and preparation for trial.
? Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to advance case progress.
? Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as required.
? Ensure timely and thorough file updates in the case management system.
Qualifications:
? Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
? Active and in good standing with the Georgia or Alabama bar association (depending on which location candidate is applying for).
? 4-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with exposure to complex cases preferred.
? Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
? Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
