Position Overview:
This position supports Compeer's corporate giving programs and team. Executes donation payments and generates reports for grant recipients, annual commitments, and partners. Coordinates communication and outreach both internally and externally, while also supporting the administration of the Fund Board of Trustees meetings and functions. Ensures smooth operations and fosters strong partnerships within the corporate giving framework.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates financial processes, including check requests, budget tracking and report auditing of corporate giving funds.
  • Facilitates and organizes board meeting activities, including logistics and agenda preparation.
  • Manages and distributes board meeting materials and agendas to Trustees.
  • Coordinates communication and meetings with Fund State Representatives, the Board Chair, and relevant committees.
  • Collects, compiles, and prepares data for the annual report, impact reporting, and other reporting needs.
  • Manages and updates the internal Compeer Connect page with relevant articles and information.
  • Collaborates with the Communications and Marketing teams to coordinate external communications, including press releases and advertising.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Associate's degree in marketing, business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, emphasis in philanthropy is a plus.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business, client relationships and/or team support.
  • Awareness and understanding of philanthropy, communications and public relations concepts, principles and practices.
  • Commitment to ethical decision making, accuracy and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends, to showcase outcomes of giving efforts with numbers and statistics.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and relationship development, with proven client service and effective team skills.
  • Ability to be a meaningful storyteller, using written and verbal communication skills, to showcase giving efforts and opportunities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to actively listen and document information accurately.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently; effectively coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, Concur (payment request system), Power BI and other related software programs. Jotform, and other philanthropic software, knowledge or experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
