Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to work within our Air Quality Services division at our Weymouth, MA office. The Assistant Project Manager will enjoy the challenge of working on multiple projects on a fast-paced schedule, working with senior staff to assess asbestos, lead, mold and safety, as well as providing field oversight and technical support on a variety of projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos abatement monitoring and surveys
- Conduct regulated materials/universal waste surveys
- Conduct water intrusion/mold assessments
- Analyze laboratory and engineering data
- Write summary reports for senior review
- Seek opportunities to expand client services with existing and new clients as part of ongoing business development
Qualifications
- BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Public Health, or related field
- 4+ years of professional experience in technical activities directly related to asbestos and mold assessments, including report writing and field investigation
- AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector Certification and Monitor Certification (additional states a plus)
- Health & Safety Certifications pursuant to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability/willingness to travel for frequent fieldwork, valid drivers license required
- Ability to complete complex tasks and handle multiple priorities
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite required
