Description of Work:The School of Global Integrative Studies (SGIS) Anthropology division invites applications for a Forensic Anthropologist with a specialty in Data Analytics to be appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor beginning in August 2025. The successful candidate will develop an outstanding research program that results in peer- reviewed publications and external funding appropriate to the subdiscipline and the training of graduate and undergraduate researchers. They will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and contribute to program, college, and university affairs to an extent appropriate to their rank.
We seek applicants who are theoretically grounded and empirically engaged in forensic anthropology with a specialty in data analysis, data visualization, and advanced statistical techniques. In the area of teaching, we seek a colleague prepared to play an active role in expanding forensic-related curricular offerings and who can teach courses ranging from introductory undergraduate to graduate levels. Candidates whose qualifications bridge into this specialty area are encouraged to apply.
