Application Development Team Lead Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Development Team Lead with a strong background in front-end development, PHP, and Go to join our dynamic team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented developers to design, develop, and maintain our web applications. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions. Below is a summary of the key responsibilities and characteristics associated with the role:

Responsibilities and Characteristics:

•Lead a Development Team: Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery and professional growth.

•Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, create development plans, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

•Hands-on Development: Actively participate in coding, debugging, and testing of software components, with a focus on front-end, PHP, and Go development.

•Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and adherence to coding standards.

•Technical Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

•Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends.

•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

Qualifications:

•Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or demonstrated experience as a mobile developer or in a similar role.

•Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js).

•PHP Development: Strong experience with PHP and related frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).

•Go Programming: Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) for building efficient and scalable server-side applications.

•Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of developers, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•Version Control: Proficiency with Git (or similar) and version control workflows.

•Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

•Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Additional Skills:

•Full-Stack Development: Experience with full-stack development, including back-end, front-end, and database design.

•DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

•Testing: Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and methodologies.

•Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing applications for speed and scalability.

A successful Application Development Team Lead combines technical proficiency with strong leadership and communication skills to drive successful application development projects.
