Job Description

  • Gathers data and documents test results.
  • Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.
  • Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
  • Participates in required training activities.
  • Maintains laboratory supplies.
  • Completes test records and reviews data.
  • Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
  • Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
  • May assist in validation of methods.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, andapositive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or other science-related degree concentration
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bioassay laboratory
  • Experience in running bioassays preferred (skills including working with 96 well-plates, serial dilutions, and working small volumes with multi-channel pipette)
    • Assays included: ELISA, immunoassay, in vivo potency
  • Experience with mammalian tissue culture and aseptic technique is highly desired
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, andapositive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
The Hiring Process:
  • 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Recruiter
  • 60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager
  • 30 Minute interview with Site Director

Additional Information
  • The position is full-time, with various shift opportunities, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NYare encouraged to apply.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tuesday - Saturday.
