Advanced Systems Engineer

Bloomington, MN

Contract Position

$49.79-$54.79/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the systems development life cycle, applying advanced technical methodologies to ensure innovative solutions in defense and security systems.
• Drive the systems development life cycle with expertise in requirements management and system modeling tools.
• Develop and apply creative technical solutions aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Present and communicate technical information effectively, ensuring alignment with customer requirements through negotiation and strategic solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics). Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years with a Master's degree. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience designing and integrating test equipment.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ within the National Instruments software environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical test design and system integration.
