Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:

The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Comprehensive Oral Health houses several disciplines including, Periodontology, Dental Hygiene, Comprehensive Dentistry, Operative Dentistry/BioMaterials, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics. The Prosthodontics discipline focuses on the restoration and replacement of teeth and/or craniofacial structures.

Position Summary:

The Division of Comprehensive Oral Health seeks a part-time adjunct faculty to assure the safe and effective delivery of patient care, provide didactic and clinical education, summative and formative student assessment and participate in small group seminars.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Candidates must have a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

At least two years of demonstrated clinical experience or postgraduate clinical education and demonstrated clinical teaching experience. Completion of a G.P.R., A.E.G.D., prosthodontics or operative dentistry residency program is preferred.
