Salary: $33.00 USD Hourly - $43.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Santa Monica, CA

Length: 6 month plus W2 contract, no C2C

Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity of accounts payable sub-ledgers. Your attention to detail and self-motivation will help improve processes and exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.

You will support the AP Leads and Supervisor by working with a broad range of team members to ensure vendors successfully navigate the payment process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on accuracy in high-volume environments.
Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into the purchasing system
• Maintain communication with vendors and team members to address concerns
• Secure approvals from the right stakeholders
• Reconcile Purchase Orders to invoices and validate coding in the ERP system
• Serve the needs of internal and external contacts
• Review contracts and reconcile them to Purchase Orders and invoices
• Data entry and inbox organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in large teams
• Proficiency with Oracle
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with vendors and team members
• Coopa experience preferred
• Gaming or Entertainment Industry experience preferred.
